Who we are

Statmio ("the service", "we") is run by SIA "AB Techworks", a company registered in Latvia, which is the controller of your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Questions and requests about your data: privacy@statmio.com

What we store

  • Your Google sign-in: your name, email address and Google account id, which Google sends us when you sign in.
  • For each social account you connect (today: YouTube channels): the account's id, name and picture, and the access keys the platform gives us. The keys are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are saved, are used only by our server to read your statistics, and are never shown to anyone, including you.
  • Statistics read from the platform: channel totals, daily views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, likes, comments and shares, and for each upload its title, thumbnail, publish date, type and the same daily numbers.
  • A session cookie that keeps you logged in for seven days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics scripts. Your light or dark theme choice is kept only in your own browser.

How we use it

Only to show you your own analytics: the dashboard, charts and tables you see after signing in. We refresh the statistics of each connected account automatically about once a day.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with anyone, except the hosting and database providers that run the service for us and may process it only on our instructions, or when the law requires it. Nobody reads your data unless you ask us to (for example in a support request), or it is needed for security or to comply with the law.

Data from Google and YouTube

Statmio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Statmio uses YouTube API Services to read your channel's statistics, with read-only permission. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can withdraw our access to your Google account at any time on Google's third-party access page. After that we can no longer read new statistics.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep your data while your account exists. On the Accounts page you can Disconnect a single account, which deletes its keys and all its statistics at once and asks the platform to cancel our access, or use Delete my account, which removes your sign-in, every connected account and all statistics immediately and logs you out.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract). The session cookie is strictly necessary for logging in, so it needs no separate consent.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a copy in a portable format, or object to its processing. Write to the address under "Who we are"; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Latvian data protection authority, the Data State Inspectorate, or to the authority of your own EU country.

Children

The service is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes we update this page and its date. If a change affects how your existing data is used, we tell you in the app before it takes effect.
